Valida is pleased to announce that it has successfully assisted the shareholders of OBA Tradizione Futura S.r.l., an Italian family-owned manufacturer of premium vehicle enhancement products based near Bologna, in the sale of the company to Karnell Group AB (publ), a Swedish listed long-term owner of industrial technology businesses. Karnell has publicly stated that it acquired 90% of OBA Tradizione Futura, with an option to acquire the remaining shares at a later stage.

Valida acted as Exclusive Sell-Side Advisor to the shareholders, supporting them throughout the entire transaction process. The assignment covered the preliminary valuation phase, preparation for the transaction, vendor due diligence support, assistance in setting up the virtual data room and during the buyer dd phase, buyer screening and outreach, management of discussions with counterparties, and coordination of the various professionals involved through to the successful completion of the deal.
